Transit
With the large number of employees and visitors expected on the Fitzsimons campus in the very near future, you may be wondering what you can do to avoid the parking crunch. Riding transit is one way to avoid the hassles of traffic and parking, not to mention that it's easier on the environment than single occupancy vehicle (SOV) travel.
The Fitzsimons campus is served by a number of RTD routes, allowing for access from all directions.

Routes serving the campus:
- 15 - East Colfax (East-West route)
- 15L - East Colfax Limited (East-West route) Note: Limited buses only stop at selected bus stops along a Local route to provide faster service. In some cases, they take shortcuts that bypass congested areas
- 20 - 20th Avenue (East-West route)
- 121 - Peoria Crosstown (North-South route)
- 121L - Peoria Crosstown Limited (North-South route)
- DM - Boulder/Fitzsimons - Regional route
Transit pass information for each campus:
UCD - Discounted RTD passes and coupon books are available for UCD staff, students, and faculty.
As a service to staff, students and faculty, Parking and Transportation Services sells bus passes, tokens and coupon books at a discount. This discount is only available to UCD students, staff and faculty at the Anschutz Medical Campus. Photo ID is required to purchase at a discount.

UCH - There is currently no discount transit pass program available for UCH employees. We are working with RTD to offer transit passes to employees. Check back often for an updated status on this issue.
TCH - The Children's Hospital offers an EcoPass to its employees. The Eco Pass is an annual transit pass purchased by your employer. With this photo ID card, you can ride on all RTD services (excluding special services) 7 days a week for an entire year. You can ride:
- Local, Express or Regional buses
- skyRide bus service to Denver International Airport
- Light Rail
- call-n-Ride
An EcoPass amounts to a nearly $1500 benefit to employees! All EcoPass holders are automatically enrolled in the Guaranteed Ride Home program, which assures users of a FREE taxi ride home in the event of an emergency, illness or unexpected schedule change that requires you to work late. You may use the Guaranteed Ride Home Program on any day you ride the bus or use another form of alternative transportation to get to work. Contact your Human Resources representative to get your EcoPass today.
